Calculate Your PERS Payout

Follow these questions to determine the payment option(s) best suited to your retirement needs.

Step One:

Do you have a dependent, such as a spouse, that needs to continue receiving payments for their lifetime after you die, or do you want the entire benefit to go to you during your lifetime? Before answering this question, take into account two considerations:

Is your dependent likely to have substantial income even without your PERS benefit? If so, they may not need your PERS benefit after you die, and you may want to answer “No” to this question.

Is your dependent likely to outlive you? If not, you may want to answer “No” to this question.

To Proceed, choose an option below:

“Yes, I have a dependent who is likely to outlive me and would need my PERS benefit after I die.”

“No, I do not have a dependent that I need to provide for after I die.”
